GYPSY WITCH : HANNAH CAUGHLIN
Halloween is upon us, & it's time to introduce you to the talents behind the fourth & final face of 'my witch', Hannah Delia Caughlin.
A vision of Hannah as an enchanting gypsy witch inspired my Lucky Coin pieces, & it was my great pleasure & good fortune to be allowed to realise this vision.
Since graduating from a Graphic Design Degree at St. Martins, multi talented Hannah has been pursuing her main love, music.
I was lucky enough to catch Hannah performing with her band The Bicycle Thieves & , like hoards of others, was won over by her charming lyrics, beautiful voice & delicate way with a Ukulele.
A captivating front woman & word wizard Hannah has been invited to collaborate with a string of musical outfits, including folk masters The Memory Band & The Accidental, & Roots Manuva's hip hop hub The Banana Klan, as well as writing for pop machine Xenomania. Get a taste here :
Already with an impressive musical career behind her, Hannah is now working on an exciting secret project with a new collaborator. Keep your eyes on this page for updates : http://www.facebook.com/HannahDeliaCaughlin?ref=ts&fref=ts

SACRED SCARAB WITCH: LAURA GILL
This witch has many tricks & treats up her sleeves.
At one time my partner in crime in 'Dirty Drawers' - a dual illustration operation, specialising in imaginary character based installations & zines, multi faceted St. Martins graduate Laura has also dabbled in music & surreal performance art with 'Scottish Weirdos', but now concentrates on her solo work, bringing her unique & mischeivous visions into being.
A talented, versatile & entertaining illustrator, Gill's work has been described as 'a strange spaghetti of hopes, dreams and horrors'.
Se says "My specialities lie in dark fantastic and silly imaginative".
http://www.laura-gill.co.uk for more.
Another Gill speciality is the pet portrait. Warranting their very own blog (http://dogblogandpets.blogspot.co.uk) these are all one -off commissioned works & make perfect presents. With Christmas looming, one of these could be the answer to your shopping woes. Contact laura with enquiries - firstname.lastname@example.org
Laura's latest creations are inspired by the Native American tradition of the talking stick - a tool used in group discussions to allow everyone, in turn, to have their say. Laura's Talking Sticks, though, have strong opinions of their own.
Foraged from London's prime wooded areas, each stick is carefully selected, whittled & stripped before being brought to life, with Gill teasing out the sticks' natural & distinct character with gentle daubs of paint.
Recently named as " this year's top stocking filler", the talking sticks are now available from Lik + Neon, No One shop, and Darkroom Store London, as well as direct from the workshop www.laura-gill.co.uk/thetalkingsticks, where you can choose from the different collections; the pagan Shades of Morris Dancer, innnocent Pastel Dipped Springs or glam & festive Heraldic Glitters.
Magic fact: For those with a keen eye, you might be able to spot the very latest creation Laura has been brewing in the She's My Witch images, which we shot only weeks before the arrival of her second beautiful baby.

DIAMOND DAGGER WITCH : ANGEL ROSE
Hailing from Hollywood California, Angel Rose migrated to London to pursue a lifestyle of ‘creativity and debauchery’. No stranger to the camera, she has been shot by a raft of photographers & filmmakers drawn to her striking beauty, bold & glamourous gothic style & abundant charisma.
Primarily though, Angel Rose is creator - producing & starring in video vignettes of spoken word, which transport you into her brightly saturated surreal world of glitz & demented philosophy.
I was introduced to Angel Rose last year when Mr Bonita was drafted in to shoot & edit two of her films : Terrormisu & The Green Carnation. Both pieces have just been selected to be screened at the Centre Pompidou, Paris next month as part of Diane Pernet’s ‘A Shaded View of Fashion Film’.
Dedicated to uniting & promoting underground filmmakers & artists, Angel Rose is also the mastermind behind ‘Videodrone’, a series of pop-up screenings around London.
The next of which, ‘VIDEODRONE DELUXE’, will include the work of ten hot young filmmakers, alongside Angel Rose’s interviews with the artists tackling the question ‘Can style have substance?’.‘VIDEODRONE DELUXE’ will take place at Jaguar Shoes on Thursday 1st November (next week!). “An evening of cinema, cocktails & avant-blah”

With my new collection AMULETS II : SHE'S MY WITCH
& with All Hallow's Eve eeking ever nearer, it seems a perfect time to introduce you to the stars of the SHE’S MY WITCH movie - the four beautiful faces of ‘MY WITCH’, & the magical talents that lie beneath...
SERPENT CHARMER WITCH : MISS RAISA VEIKKOLA
I had the great fortune to meet Raisa some moons ago when we studied Illustration together at the University of the Arts in South London, & was delighted when she agreed to model for the collection.
If you are very lucky, you might recognise Raisa from one her many performances in Theatre of Dolls - her joint creation with fellow artist Frida Alvinzi. Together they create magical puppet shows, where they themselves form part of the show, with their magnificent costumes acting as a backdrop for their beautifully handcrafted characters to tell fantastical tales.
If you’ve not yet had this pleasure, fret not - they are currently cooking up the next chapter, ready for release next year. In the meantime, you can get an taste of things to come from their glorious archive http://www.theatreofdolls.com/productions/the-holy-dress.
Theatre of Dolls also spin a fine line in illustration, working on a range of commissions, from posters to murals. Contact them here :
